Titans announce preseason joint practices

It has become increasingly popular over the last few seasons for teams to hold joint practices ahead of preseason games. The Tennessee Titans announced today that they will be holding joint practices with all three of their preseason opponents. The first will be in Santa Clara against the San Francisco 49ers on August 11th. They will host the reigning World Champion Seattle Seahawks on August 21st and the Chicago Bears on August 27th.

Typically, we get more information from these practices than the preseason games themselves because the starters get a lot more action. These will be key for a team with a new coaching staff and new schemes on both sides of the ball. Get ready for exhaustive reports on how Cam Ward performs in these practices.

Jim Wyatt also reported in his article that the Titans’ rookies will report for training camp on July 23rd. The veterans will report on July 28th.
