Improving the Tennessee Titans’ roster through a five-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft
The Tennessee Titans are currently slated to own the No. 6 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft following Sunday’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Ran Carthon’s club has an opportunity to move up in the draft order this weekend because the Las Vegas Raiders are playing the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Titans are playing a winnable game against the Indianapolis Colts. Before we receive another draft-order shakeup, we’ve conducted a five-round Titans mock draft.
Tennessee’s pass rush is totally abysmal. There’s an excellent chance that one of Harold Landry or Arden Key will be a cap casualty this offseason. Even if Carthon retains both starters, an upgrade is clearly needed. Penn State’s Abdul Carter is an elite prospect that blends athleticism with size and speed.
The Titans have tried five different players at right tackle and all of them have been terrible. The list of free-agents-to-be is grim, so Carthon has to address this position via the draft. Possessing an early second-round selection could provide the Titans with a plug-and-play solution. Marcus Mbow is a natural right tackle with a finisher’s mentality.
DeAndre Hopkins’ midseason departure requires an “X” replacement. Illinois’ Pat Bryant is a big-bodied weapon listed at 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds. Bryant was a difference maker this season, recording 54 receptions for 984 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Tennessee’s pass rush is bad enough to warrant doubling down. Jaylen Harrell hasn’t shown enough in-season potential to be a rotational piece. Sai’vion Jones is athletic and matched a previous career-high 4.5 sacks this season.
Who’s going to start opposite Amani Hooker next season? The aging Quandre Diggs suffered a season-ending injury and was playing on an expiring contract. Mike Brown and Daryl Worley obviously aren’t long-term solutions. Upton Stout is undersized, but the Western Kentucky product should improve his pre-draft stock at this year’s Senior Bowl after totaling 53 tackles for the Hilltoppers this year.
Again, the receiver position may need doubling down. Maryland’s Tai Felton would contend for snaps in Callahan’s offense next season. At 6-foot-2, he’s cut from that Tee Higgins cloth that Callahan appreciates. Felton posted big-time numbers this campaign, surpassing 1,100 receiving yards.
