Ticketmaster Forced To Make Shocking Move Ahead Of NFL Games In London After “Chaos” Ensued

Ticketmaster is doing its best to ensure that actual fans can buy tickets to NFL games in London during the 2025 season.

Six of the NFL’s iconic teams will be crossing the pond to face off against each other in the UK capital this October.

Three NFL games will be played in London, U.K., as part of the NFL’s International Games series. The games are Vikings vs. Browns on October 5 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Broncos vs. Jets on October 12 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Rams vs. Jaguars on October 19 at Wembley Stadium.

2024 saw a great NFL season overseas, with showdowns between the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings, the Jacksonville Jaguars and Chicago Bears, and the New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Ticketmaster decided to temporarily pause all sales for those contests shortly after they went on sale Thursday to “ensure genuine fans are able to purchase tickets.”

In a statement, Ticketmaster said fans who tried to buy tickets will keep their place in the queue. It added, “We understand how frustrating this is.”

The NFL put tickets on sale today for its London games at 12pm local time — and chaos followed. Fans were placed in a queue with over 250,000 people (!!) ahead of them.

Fans Are Excited About London Games

The NFL returns to its UK home, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, for multiple games.

This season, the first game in the United Kingdom will come during Week 5 of the regular season, when the Cleveland Browns take on the Minnesota Vikings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

The following week, the New York Jets will meet the Denver Broncos at the same stadium.

In Week 7, the Jacksonville Jaguars will play the Los Angeles Rams at Wembley Stadium.

We’ll see what the future holds for the NFL in Europe, as some have suggested that a team could be permanently placed there.
