Thursday Night Football, Week 9 Game Thread: Ravens vs. Dolphins

It’s Thursday evening, and that means that the NFL is kicking off its next week of football this evening. Tonight, Week 9 gets underway with a matchup between two underwhelming AFC teams that are looking to scrape out of the bottom of their respective divisions.

The Baltimore Ravens are just 2-5 on the young 2025 season, but there are a few mitigating factors for their record to this point. Their schedule was front-loaded with very tough games — their losses have come to the Bills, Lions, Chiefs, Texans, and Rams. Three of those teams are currently 5-2, one is 5-3 and on surging (the Chiefs), and the Texans loss came immediately after quarterback Lamar Jackson was injured. Things get much easier from here for the Ravens, with only four of their final 10 games coming against teams with a winning record at present.

The Dolphins, on the other hand, have been losing to good and bad teams alike. They have allowed at least 27 points in all six of their losses, and Tua Tagavailoa has thrown the most interceptions in the NFL this season with 10.
