The NFC West is surprisingly strong to start the season with three teams tied atop the division, but that three-way tie likely gets broken with the winner of tonight’s game getting the leg up. However, one team is a bit beleaguered by injury while the other is looking sharp.

According to FanDuel, the Rams are huge 7.5-point home favorites over the 49ers. The line seemed way too large for two 3-1 teams, but then I saw that literally no starters are in for San Francisco because they have the worst strength and conditioning coaches in the NFL since a certain unnamed guy was leading the Denver Broncos to the league’s most-injured team every year. I think the Rams are going to win here, but maybe it won’t quite be the blowout people expect.
