Week 5 of the season kicks off with another interdivisional showdown. This evening’s game features the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams, who are this week’s hosts. The Rams and 49ers, along with the Seattle Seahawks, enter this week in a 3-way tie for 1st place in the NFC West. The 49ers come into the game fresh off a loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, 26-21. Prior to that, the Niners won their first three games, defeating the Seahawks 17-13, the New Orleans Saints 26-21, and the Arizona Cardinals 16-15. The Rams won their first two games of the season over the Houston Texans, 14-9, and the Tennessee Titans, 33-19. Their one loss came in week three to the Philadelphia Eagles, 33-26, before rebounding last week with a win over the Indianapolis Colts, 27-20.
