The vibes seem to be bad in South Beach. A blowout loss to the Indianapolis Colts was followed by a home defeat to the New England Patriots, and now the Miami Dolphins finds themselves on the precipice of thinking about 2026 already. They’ve looked terrible on defense and inconsistent on offense, especially the horrific turnovers committed by Tua Tagovailoa.
Meanwhile, the Bills gave us the early thrill of their improbable opening night 41-40 comeback over the Baltimore Ravens, then made life a little bit easier by hammering the New York Jets on the road. This is the first of three straight home games for the Bills, and they are heavy favorites to come away with yet another victory over Mike McDaniel’s team. It’s not impossible to think that McDaniel’s final game as head coach could be Thursday night.
Former Seattle Seahawks players in this game include Dee Eskridge, Jordyn Brooks, and Tyrel Dodson, all of whom are with the Dolphins.
