The first Prime Video game of the season is a dandy between two Super Bowl contenders. Dan Quinn’s Washington Commanders (aka Seahawks East) made the NFC Championship Game in Jayden Daniels’ rookie season. Their big offseason acquisitions were wide receiver Deebo Samuel and left tackle Laremy Tunsil, both of whom were traded.
Meanwhile, the Packers made the playoffs as a Wild Card again last season, but lost to the eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. Their big offseason acquisition was… yeah, that guy. And he got a sack in his debut while on a limited snap count because of his back issues. Micah Parsons could be the piece that takes the Pack to Super Bowl contention. Jordan Love’s new receiver worth watching is Matthew Golden, a first-round pick out of Texas who can really take off.
Both teams won their openers, so who will be the first to 2-0? I’m going Green Bay, but I’m pulling for Washington due to all of the Seahawks connections.
Prime Video has the game at 5:15 pm PT. If you play your cards right, you can just watch the game for free on Twitch.
