Fans should know more about the specific plans for the draft in a few weeks, however.

Over the last few decades, the NFL Draft has become the league’s premier offseason event and is now second on its calendar to only the Super Bowl in terms of importance and attention. Moving the draft around to different host cities has made it a destination for fans, and the fact that the 2025 NFL Draft will be in Green Bay has Packers fans understandably excited.

But so far, the only major details that we know about the draft are the dates. Much of the mechanics and details of the event are still in process, and the NFL will finally start to pick up the pace on planning starting after the Super Bowl next weekend.

With that in mind, we should start to learn about some details after that, but the league also has its other big event to put on first: the Scouting Combine. That event, which will remain in Indianapolis at least through 2026, takes place the last week of February, about two months before the Draft.

Still, it appears that all is well on the planning side. The city of Green Bay is certainly excited and ready to put on a great show for the tens of thousands of visitors that are expected. Just be patient with the exact details.

As a related note, several Acme Packing Company writers are planning to be in Green Bay for the draft as well, and there may be some events coming together. Look for more details on that to come as well!
