The Las Vegas Raiders continue to embarrass themselves this season, and the Week 12 loss to the Cleveland Browns is just another example. The Raiders’ current roster is a collection of bad decisions, making this week’s check-in on old friends sting more as former safety Thomas Harper had a big game for the Detroit Lions. Of course, we’ll also take a look at how Sunday treated Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers.

As for Josh Jacobs, he was inactive with the knee injury that caused him to leave last week’s game early for the Green Bay Packers.

Thomas Harper

  • Game result: 34-27, Lions win
  • Stats: 6 tackles, 1 INT, 1 PBU

Harper was part of the Raiders’ roster cuts at the end of training camp and got claimed by the Lions. While he didn’t get much playing time during the first half of the season, he’s been a starter since Week 7 with Kerby Joseph on injured reserve and has played well. Harper had his best game on Sunday, coming up with a PBU and a fourth-quarter interception to help fuel the Lions’ comeback in the overtime win. The safety also ranked fourth on the team in tackles and has had 11 in the last two weeks combined.

Jakobi Meyers

  • Game result: 27-24, Jaguars win
  • Stats: 4 catches, 50 yards, 1 TD

This was the first time Meyers wasn’t the Jacksonville Jaguars’ leading receiver, but he still made a significant impact by scoring his first touchdown with the club and on the season. That played a big factor in the team’s much-needed overtime win. He’s up to 12 catches for 155 yards and a touchdown in four games since getting traded to Jacksonville, and the Jags head into Thanksgiving with the AFC’s six seed/second Wild Card spot at 7-4.

Davante Adams

  • Game result: 34-7, Rams
  • Stats: 5 catches, 62 yards, 2 TDs

All Adams does is score touchdowns this season. He came into the weekend leading the league, and his two scores against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pushed the wideout to 12 on the year. That also means Adams is six touchdowns away from tying his career high of 18 in 2020, and ranks one away from tying Antonio Gates for the seventh-most all-time. Meanwhile, the dominant win means the Los Angeles Rams are currently the one seed in the NFC with the Philadelphia Eagles’ loss.
