“This Is An Ignorant Message”: Social Media Is Destroying Jason Kelce Over His Fourth Of July Instagram Post

Some football fans are unhappy and teeing off on Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce over his Fourth of July post on Instagram.

Travis and Jason Kelce haven’t publicly revealed which political party they support. But given President Donald Trump’s well-documented beef with Taylor Swift, many assume that Travis (and thus, likely Jason as well) is a Democrat…or at least on the anti-Trump train.

The elder Kelce brother shared an Instagram post to celebrate the Fourth of July. Kelce expressed his love for the holiday since Americans can “set aside our differences” and celebrate their nation:

“Man I love the 4th! One of the great days we all can set aside our differences in this country, and enjoy the one thing we all share in common. That we are American!
Cheers to you oh beautiful America.”

Though the 37-year-old Jason Kelce didn’t express a particular political leaning here, many fans were upset with his post.

“The quicker the Kelces fade into the background, the better,” said a user.

Then, we can all get back to watching football instead of the nonsense that surrounds these two.

“I think you’re missing that it’s a privilege to be feeling ok enough to be celebrating today, because maybe those “differences” you speak of don’t feel so major to you,” said a user.

“Hey cool a millionaire telling me it’s great to be American while I don’t know if I’ll have a job next week. 🙃,” a fan commented.

“Unfortunately Jason this is not real life for many. They signed the worst bill for so many Americans today just to rub it in our faces. I know it’s hard to understand, but so many will suffer. 😢,” said another.

Donald Trump’s controversial “Big Beautiful Bill” passed earlier last week, and it obviously added more tension to a nation that’s divided enough as is. While many support Jason Kelce’s message of unity, others didn’t think it was the time or place.
