Philadelphia is home to some of the greatest sports fans on earth. This is an indisputable fact. But there is a tiny number of those fans who need to be shamed for turning on Jason Kelce for showing empathy toward his brother losing the Super Bowl.

This started a week or so ago when Jason Kelce revealed he would be rooting for his brother *AND* for the Eagles in the Super Bowl, he’s an Eagles fan and a Travis Kelce fan. Then the tiny faction of Philly fans who are currently losing their minds on social media were somehow upset when yesterday Jason Kelce shared a statement effusively congratulating the Eagles on winning the Super Bowl but also shared how it hurt him to watch his brother struggle.

He points out that Travis is his best friend, a person he loves/cares about more than anyone on earth but finished the statement with a profane congratulations for the Eagles. The ‘some Philly fans are turning on Jason Kelce’ story was brought to my attention by one of the BroBible staffers who happens to be off today. Thankfully, there are A LOT MORE Eagles fans in the comments calling out the clown takes.

My hope is that after a few hours pass this can all be chalked up to a small faction of Eagles fans who are turning on Jason Kelce are doing so because they’re still hungover from the Super Bowl celebrations. He will go into Canton as an Eagle. Jason was the captain and he won the organization its first-ever Super Bowl. He gave everything he had, for years, for the Eagles.

To question his loyalty to the organization is purely asinine. It’s as simple as that. And if those fans are willing to turn on a man who was...
