The Washington Commanders season is over, and it’s time to look towards the future. The team fell short this season, finishing with a 5-12 record, and third place in the NFC East. The Commanders announced they have signed 11 players to reserve/future contracts. The players announced today were all on the team’s 17-man practice squad.

These players will return next season to try to earn a spot on the 53-man roster. They will also be competing with a large number of new players coming via the draft and free agency. Their chances are slim, but they were kept for a reason while others weren’t signed.
