The Cincinnati Bengals parted ways with Germaine Pratt. And though his play declined in recent years, he is beloved by fans for his numerous clutch plays.

Picking off Tom Brady

Pratt made an acrobatic interception off the GOAT in Week 15 of the 2022 regular season, as the Bengals went on to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 34-23.

Forcing Dalvin Cook to fumble

In the season opener of the Bengals’ 2021-22 Super Bowl season, it was Pratt who forced the Minnesota Vikings running back to fumble in overtime, leading to Evan McPherson’s game-winning field goal.

Stripping Travis Kelce

The Kansas City Chiefs were ahead in the fourth quarter of their regular season matchup with the Bengals in 2022, when Pratt relentlessly ripped the ball out of the future Hall of Fame tight end’s hands. The Bengals would go on to win, 27-24.

Knocking the ball out of Tyler Huntley’s hands

In a goal line stand against the Baltimore Ravens in the Wildcard Round in 2023, it was Pratt who tipped the ball out of the QB’s hands and eventually into the arms of Sam Hubbard, who took it all the way for the touchdown that would decide the game.

There’s no doubt about Pratt’s greatest play ever. He got to be the guy who sealed the deal and sent the Bengals into the second round of the playoffs, bringing tears of joy to fans everywhere, by picking off Derek Carr at the end of the Las Vegas Raiders’ Wildcard matchup with Cincinnati.
