The Houston Texans were beating on Aaron Rodgers during their ‘Monday Night Football’ Wild Card showdown.
The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback took much better care of the football than C.J. Stroud, yet it’s the Texans who appear to be headed to a win.
Rodgers hadn’t been able to register a touchdown pass at the time of writing. The Steelers had to make do with a pair of field goals.
The Texans were accused of “elderly abuse” early in the fourth quarter, absolutely wrecking Aaron Rodgers on a sack, leading to a fumble.
Rogers nearly had his head knocked off, with Will Anderson and Sheldon Rankins breaking through his offensive line.
Rankins would recover the ball and run it into the end zone to add insult to injury.

Aaron Rodgers turned 42 last month. He might rethink putting his body through this type of treatment for another year.
The Steelers drew first blood when they grabbed a Texans wide receiver’s junk earlier in the game. This was payback.
Houston led 24-6 with just under four minutes to go at the time of writing.
