As with every high-profile free agent, the Pittsburgh Steelers have been linked to quarterback Aaron Rodgers this offseason ever since the New York Jets announced they would not be bringing him back.

Despite his struggles with the Jets and being 41 years old, there will be a market for Rodgers in a quarterback-starved league. We’ve already gone on record saying we feel like signing Rodgers isn’t the best use of resources but if the Steelers were interested, would Rodgers even want to come play in Pittsburgh?

Rodgers gave his very short wishlist for his new team to TMZ Sports and we aren’t sure if the Steelers fit the bill.

“If they want you,” Rodgers said. “If they have a good team.”

By virtue of the fact that the Steelers would reach out, they fulfilled the first requirement. But asking whether or not the Steelers have a good team is a point of contention. It’s hard to imagine Rodgers wanting to come to the Steelers and play in a dated, plodding offense with very little in terms of weapons in the passing game.
