I’ve watched this Kelee Ringo play over a hundred times. This was one of the worst angles I’ve ever seen a corner take. You know it’s bad when NFL players look human:
Now listen, that’s Ja’Marr Chase, one of the best receivers in the world. Would Quinyon Mitchell be on him in a real game? Sure, but Ringo would still be covering Tee Higgins and that’s not an easy task either.
Adoree Jackson didn’t fare much better:
The Eagles traded for Jakorian Bennett because they knew the depth they had at corner was shit, but we still don’t know exactly how he’ll respond. With Reed Blankenship and Cooper DeJean locked in, someone is going to have to step up and take this second corner spot. The Eagles play the Cowboys twice, Lions, Rams, Commies twice, and Vikings, who all have elite receiver tandems. We’ve been blessed at the corner position recently, in what feels like the first time in forever that we didn’t need to worry about the corners becoming burnt toast. I don’t want to go back to that. I’d rather spend three hours in sports complex traffic than go back to the days of watching Byron Maxwell, Nnamdi Asomugha, and DRC.
