It’s no secret that the Cleveland Browns have gotten some excellent production from two UDFA wide receivers this offseason in Gage Larvadain and Luke Floriea.
We recently conducted a community poll via X/Twitter in “THE FEED” section of the revamped website, which is an excellent new feature for DawgsbyNature.com. It’s an area where Browns fans and staff members can engage with each other all day, every day.
The first poll asked the question:
Alright #DawgPound, you can only keep one of these UDFA WRs. Which one are you choosing to keep on the 53-man roster in 2025?
With only an hour or so left on the 24-hour poll, the results are fairly unanimous so far. 285 votes (64%) have gone to Luke Floriea and 161 votes (36%) to Gage Larvadain.
This is honestly pretty surprising. Though Floriea is a local kid and has looked pretty solid throughout his time in Berea this summer, Larvadain has undoubtedly been the more “exciting” player who’s consistently on the receiving end of big plays.
Each one of these guys has their own set of areas in which they excel, and both are traits that usually translate well over to the NFL game. Floriea is an incredibly quick and sudden mover who’s able to get separation early on in the play, and Larvadain has shown to be excellent at the catch point and knows how to create after the catch.
We get to see both of these players in a live game setting tonight as Cleveland takes on Carolina in their 1st preseason game of the year.
