The Panthers have agreed to an extension with their undrafted free agent gem wide receiver Jalen Coker, who was criminally underpaid following a revelation of a 2025 season.
After spending 2025 on the RFA tender and then again in 2026, the Panthers have locked Coker up before he could have potentially been even more expensive in the 2027 off-season. The former Holy Cross receiver had appeared to lock up the number two receiver job during the 2025 season, including a 9 catch, 134 yard and 1 TD effort against the Rams on the biggest stage this iteration of the Panthers has seen.
This move shows the Panthers are committed to Coker as a running mate for Tetairoa McMillan, and many analysts were predicting a breakout season. He will be ahead of Xavier Legette and Chris Brazzell going forward, and I couldn’t be happier for the guy. Cokeheads unite! Share your thoughts on the signing below!
