According to Packers Wire’s Zach Kruse, John Kuhn, on the Green Bay Packers’ radio broadcast, stated that starting defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt injured his knee late in the game in the team’s loss to the Cleveland Browns.

The Packers were already working with what essentially was a three-man rotation at defensive tackle this year, due to how few situations Green Bay wants to field undrafted rookie Nazir Stackhouse. If Wyatt has to miss any significant time, assume that Warren Brinson, who was a health scratch in the first three weeks of the season, will get called up to the gameday roster.

Beyond Wyatt, starting right tackle Zach Tom (oblique), starting left guard Aaron Banks (groin) and starting nickelback Javon Bullard (head) also dropped out of action against the Browns.

Between those four injuries and the eight players on the injury lists for the Packers, that Week 5 bye isn’t looking like such a bad break now.
