Let’s talk about food. Some might say it’s more appetizing than the actual Super Bowl.
It’s Super Bowl week, which means hype, hype, and more hype. I know the Kansas City Chiefs have gone from a great story to the new evil empire, but there will still be north of 100 million Americans watching their quest for an unprecedented Super Bowl threepeat against the Philadelphia Eagles.
This ain’t the place to break the game down. We will have a staff predictions for this matchup but not a whole lot else.
We WILL, however, talk about food. It’s damn near mandatory to have a special Super Bowl gameday menu whether you’re at someone else’s party, hosting your own party, or doing nothing fancy other than staying home.
There will be no shortage of pizza, chicken wings, potato skins, garlic bread (or garlic knots), hamburgers, hot dogs, tacos, and barbecue ribs consumed this Sunday. Many of these foods are staples of tailgates, but it’s a little different when the audience substantially increases for the Super Bowl.
Tell us what you like to eat for the big game!
