The script was right in front of us, and not a single soul saw it until it happened. We are down to the final four teams of the year. The 2026 NFL Conference Championship Games are set for Sunday, January 25, 2026.
It’s time for the conference championship games. The New England Patriots beat the Houston Texans on Sunday at Gillette Stadium to wrap up the AFC side of things in the divisional round. That sets up a matchup with the Denver Broncos next weekend. Unfortunately, Bo Nix fractured his ankle and is out for the season.
The winner of that game will determine which conference team will head to Super Bowl LX.
On the other side, the Chicago Bears had an incredible last-second play from Caleb Wiliams to force overtime. However, the Rams would defeat them on a last-second field goal in overtime to advance. The Seattle Seahawks will be waiting for them in what will be an NFC West rematch for the conference.
Seattle destroyed the San Francisco 49ers in a blowout in their divisional round matchup. It was so easy that players were using a belt on the sidelines to describe the game.
If anybody had been paying attention, we would’ve already seen the script of how things would play out.
With eight teams vying for four spots, the NFL released a graphic featuring all the quarterbacks looking ahead to Super Bowl LX. Caleb Williams, CJ Stroud, Brock Purdy, Josh Allen, and the others were staring at Levi’s Stadium.
Something about that picture made more sense after the Divisional round was finished. The quarterbacks in the back of the picture all lost while the ones in front would win.

Sam Darnold, Bo Nix, Drake Maye, and Matt Stafford were the ones in the front. The script was right in our faces.
Who among the Seahawks, Rams, Broncos, and Patriots has the best chance to win Super Bowl LX? Right now, the Seahawks are favored to win it all, per Fox Sports. Behind them are the Rams, Patriots, and Broncos.
