The New York Jets remain the only winless team in the National Football League, as they lost at home to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday by a score of 13-6, dropping their record to 0-7 on the season.
The team is so bad, in fact, that despite the fact that the Carolina Panthers got a win to put themselves above .500 with a 4-3 record, they tweeted the final score of the game with the typical social media tone of a team that just loss: no graphics, no energy — just the score.
Beyond winning the game, there wasn’t much for the Panthers to be excited about, as there was only one touchdown in the game, while starting quarterback Bryce Young was also knocked out of the game with an ankle injury.

The lowly Jets will take their winless record into a Week 8 matchup against the resurgent Cincinnati Bengals — who are also coming off extra rest from having played on Thursday Night Football — while the Panthers will be looking to continue their hot streak, having won four of their last five games, when they host the Buffalo Bills in Charlotte.
The Jets may finally be making a change from Justin Fields at quarterback, however, as he, too, was knocked out of the game with an injury, leading to embattled rookie head coach Aaron Glenn saying he’s not sure who the team’s starter will be next week against Cincy.
