Former New York Giants star running back Brandon Jacobs used his massive 6-foot-4 and 264-pound frame to run over defenders during his playing days, culminating in a pair of Super Bowl championship rings.
You hardly see “power backs” of Brandon Jacobs’ size in today’s NFL. Baltimore Ravens star and two-time rushing champion Derrick Henry is a rare exception and built differently at 6-foot-3, 247 pounds.
If you thought Jacobs was imposing enough with his giant frame, wait until you see him beside his son, Brayden. The elder Jacobs shared a photo on X/Twitter of the two together after Brayden’s high school graduation.
And boy, does Brayden ever make his 6-foot-4 father look tiny:

Brayden Jacobs, 18, graduated from Milton High School in Milton, Georgia. The towering 6-foot-7, 320-pound offensive tackle committed to the Clemson Tigers program in January of last year.
Clemson will open their 2025 season at home against the LSU Tigers on Aug. 30 at 7:30 p.m. EST. With only three of their players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, Clemson will return with mostly the same core from last season.
The 42-year-old Brandon Jacobs played for Coffeyville and Auburn before transferring to Southern Illinois for his final college season in 2004. The Giants selected him in the fourth round (110th overall) in 2005, forming a dynamic RB duo with Ahmad Bradshaw.
Bradshaw and Jacobs helped the Giants to Super Bowl championships over the New England Patriots in the 2007 and 2011 seasons. Jacobs picked up a pivotal fourth-down conversion on the game-winning drive in Super Bowl 42, capped off by Eli Manning’s touchdown to Plaxico Burress.
The two-time 1,000-yard rusher piled up the rushing touchdowns during his nine seasons with the Giants. Brandon Jacobs is the franchise leader with 60 rushing touchdowns, which is impressive considering that he only saw the sixth-most carries (1,136) among all Giants RBs.
He’s five ahead of Tiki Barber, and only four Giants finished with more rushing yards than Jacobs (5,087). And the four people ahead of him (Barber, Rodney Hampton, Joe Morris and Saquon Barkley) all got far more carries than him.
