Brian Daboll’s New York Giants will be even more shorthanded than they initially were against Kyle Shanahan’s banged-up San Francisco 49ers. Their final injury report is out:

Out:

CB Paulson Adebo (knee)
CB Cor’Dale Flott (concussion)
DL Chauncey Golston (neck)
CB Art Green (hamstring)

Doubtful:

TE Daniel Bellinger (neck)
T Jermaine Eluemunor (pec)

Questionable:

S Jevón Holland (knee)
CB Rico Payton (groin)

This will be Adebo’s second consecutive game missed. He’s the top cornerback on the Giants and would travel with the opposition’s best wide receiver. That’s what he did in the previous two games versus the Denver Broncos with Courtland Sutton and the Philadelphia Eagles with A.J. Brown.

Flott is New York’s CB2. He was targeted 10 times in that Denver game and allowed only two receptions while breaking up two passes. He did get burned once against DeVonta Smith, but the 49ers don’t have a DeVonta Smith on their roster this week, at least. On the season, Flott has allowed a completion percentage of only 53.8 percent.

Expect the Giants to be forced into playing former first-round pick Deonte Banks, whom they have gone out of their way to avoid playing. Banks has been targeted 13 times this season. He’s allowed 11 completions for 162 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

On the other side of the ball, Eluemunor started every game leading up to this one for the Giants at right tackle. Daniel Bellinger has been the team’s TE2 on a team that has struggled to find reliable pass catchers since Malik Nabers’ injury. So, New York takes a hit in two areas. Rookie Marcus Mbow, a personal pre-draft favorite of mine, likely steps in for Eluemunor. Here’s the Giants’ offensive line coach discussing Mbow:

We will have the 49ers injury report in roughly an hour once Kyle Shanahan speaks.
