The Falcoholic’s scavenger hunt, Week 1: Post a photo of yourself with a member of the 2016 Super Bowl team

Let’s have some fun this offseason!

On Sunday night, the Eagles won Super Bowl 59 over the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans, officially closing the door on the 2024 NFL season. Now that the offseason is here, let’s have some Falcons-themed fun.

Over the next few weeks, we’re going to be doing weekly “scavenger hunts” at The Falcoholic. This week’s prompt is: Post a photo of yourself with a member of the 2016 Atlanta Falcons team that went to Super Bowl LI.

This competition is just for fun. The prize is bragging rights. Each entry will receive points as follows:

• one point for submitting a photo
• one point for every five recs the submission gets

I will keep a running leaderboard that will be included in each post going forward.

I want everyone to be able to participate in the fun here, and I know that for a variety of reasons, everyone won’t have a photo of themselves with a player from that team. So get creative. For example, if you submit a photo of yourself with a Matt Ryan bobblehead, it’s a valid submission and it will count.

Some other details for this endeavor:

• Falcoholic writers are eligible to participate except for me, because I will be the scorekeeper and managing the points totals.
• One submission per screen name.
• The points totals and leaderboard will be published on Friday. The next prompt will be published next Monday.
