NFL fans are ripping on Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel after his stats from Friday’s training camp session were leaked.
The Browns have a four-way competition for their starting quarterback job. Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett are believed to be the two front-runners, but Gabriel and fellow rookie Shedeur Sanders still have time to close the gap.
ESPN Cleveland shared the stats from Flacco, Gabriel and Sanders in Friday’s practice; Pickett remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. It was a tough day out there for Gabriel, who completed only three of 14 pass attempts for no touchdowns and one interception.
While Dillon Gabriel struggled mightily, Flacco (9-of-13, two touchdowns) and Sanders (7-of-10, one touchdown) both flourished:

The Browns brought back Flacco in free agency after a one-year stint with the Indianapolis Colts and acquired Pickett via trade with the Philadelphia Eagles. They used the No. 94 pick on Dillon Gabriel and took Shedeur Sanders in round five (No. 144).
