For The Win For The Win

As the Philadelphia Eagles enter the 2025 Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs, the team’s No. 1 rated defense in the NFL has been a key part of their success.

Specifically, the play of two of Philadelphia’s young defensemen — Cooper DeJean and Reed Blankenship — have animated fans all season long, so much so that a meme about the pair have exploded in popularity. Folks, meet the Exciting Whites.

Named after the meme of the same name — a photograph of a sign in a super market of a wine selection named “Exciting Whites” — Eagles fans began to use the meme after DeJean or Blankenship made a stellar defensive play. The meme caught on so well that the pair even sported Exciting Whites t-shirts earlier in the season.

And even more hilariously, in the lead up to the 2025 Super Bowl, DeJean stated that they’re thinking of starting a podcast where they drink white wine and just hang out.

An Exciting Whites update from tonight: they are trying to start a podcast.

“We’re going to make it happen,” said DeJean.
