The Kansas City Chiefs’ decision to draft Patrick Mahomes with the No. 10 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft was controversial.
Coming out of college, Mahomes was considered to have some of the most raw talent of any quarterback prospect, but it was questioned whether his skills could be honed and developed into a true starter.
Of course, we all now know he would, but an X user named Jeffrey Alexander, who’s a Chiefs fan, was able to predict what would happen perfectly if Kansas City Took him.
“If you draft him, Rings will come. @Chiefs,” he said with a photo of Mahomes at Texas Tech.
Mahomes has been with the Chiefs for eight years, and Jeffrey could not have been more spot-on.
His career accomplishments include six Pro Bowls, two All-Pros, two MVPs, an Offensive Player of the Year award, and three Super Bowl wins.
In terms of statistics, he has 2,602 completions, 30632 passing yards, 246 total touchdowns, 2,103 rushing yards, and 291.7 passing yards per game, which is the best in NFL history.
Even in a down year in 2024, Mahomes has thrown 12 touchdowns, nine interceptions, and 2,208 yards, while the Chiefs are the only undefeated team at 9-0.
Being this accurate about a sports prediction is almost unheard of, and social media has been left freaking out.
Many are asking for this fan’s opinions on other players and topics as if he is some sort of oracle for perfectly predicting Mahome’s career.
If an NFL team is looking to draft the next superstar quarterback, they should seriously consider calling Jeffrey and seeing what he thinks.
