The Indianapolis Colts do not appear to be a team that is trying to win many games in 2025.
This week, the team announced that former New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones had won the starting job over Anthony Richardson.
Daniel Jones is not a quarterback you put in place if you plan on looking to win a ton of games. The former New York Giant signed a one-year deal with Indy and could remain with the team as their solution to their QB issues, depending on his performance.
If the Colts’ season goes wrong, they will most likely start from scratch. That means Arch Manning could fall right into their laps.
However, Texas quarterback Arch Manning recently dropped a questionable hint about whether he will or won’t declare for the 2026 NFL Draft.
He said that he is taking it “day-by-day.”
Not to mention, his grandfather made it clear that he was not going to enter the NFL draft.
Whatever the case, many assume that the Indianapolis Colts are tanking for him.

The Colts’ Daniel Jones decision isn’t going over well with Anthony Richardson’s camp.
His agent, Deiric Jackson, spoke to ESPN on Tuesday after Jones was named the team’s starting signal-caller.
“We have a lot to discuss,” Jackson told the outlet.
Jackson said that making Jones the starter and that “some previous situations involving Richardson have damaged the team’s credibility.”
“Trust is a big factor, and that is, at best, questionable right now,” Jackson said. “Anthony came back and made the improvements in the areas he needed to improve. And by all accounts, he had a great camp.”
Richardson has yet to run away with the job as his tenure has been marked by up-and-down play and injuries since being taken at No. 4 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft.
