The Eagles Injury List is, uh, Getting a Bit Lengthy

Let’s get it back to the Eagles:

Usually we do the “what’s your level of concern?” joke and take a shot at sports talk radio, but the list is getting longer and you’re starting to clench your teeth a bit. There are four offensive starters on there along with Mukuba and Ringo, who are at least competing for starting jobs on the defensive side of the ball.

At the risk of going Negadelphia, like a “they were due for this” law of averages take, the Eagles have been really fortunate with injuries over the last few years. They got through Jalen Hurts’ concussion scare and went on to win it all last season. They missed Jordan Mailata and Dallas Goedert for portions of the regular season, and Brandon Graham and Nakobe Dean had their injuries to go along with Britain Covey and James Bradberry being out, but that was pretty much it. And in 2022, the other Super Bowl year, they lost CJGJ and Goedert for a portion of time, but were otherwise good to go.

So it’s been a minute since we’ve had Eagles injury problems. You figure they’re being careful with these guys and managing things properly, but at some point you gotta get the reps and get everybody ready for week 1, because as crappy as Dallas was last season, they’ve got Dak back and they’re not exactly the Giants. Gotta be ready for the cockroaches in 15 days.
