The Eagles didn’t even need to play a game and they now have the #1 seed in the NFC. In fact, it was a perfect weekend if you’re a Birds fan, as the Packers, Lions, Giants, and Commanders all lost. If the Cowboys lose on Monday Night Football, the Eagles would have a three-game lead in the division and be well on their way to repeating as NFC East champs for the first time in more than 20 years:
The Packers did the unthinkable and lost to the Panthers. A slight speed bump:
It was a great weekend to be a Jordan Love hater. This has to go down as the worst throw in NFL history:
The craziest stat was the Packers offense didn’t punt once and only scored 13 points. That’s unheard of. The last time they did that the forward pass was in its infant stages:
To add insult to injury, an already-banged-up receiving unit lost Tucker Kraft for the entire season with an ACL injury.
The Lions were almost double digit favorites against the Vikings with JJ McCarthy playing for the first time in five weeks. Didn’t matter. He looked like a seasoned vet out there and not a guy making his third career start. McCarthy might be the real deal when he can play. He’s a dog:
The NFC North is a logjam right now. Every single team is just going to beat up on one another for the rest of the season.
I don’t think I caught one second of the Giants vs. 49ers. It was a beat down most of the game, but the Giants were able to make the score somewhat respectable. Brian Daboll has now started 2-7 for the third year in a row:

You only stayed up for this entire game if you had the total like I did, because it was over by halftime. I, of course, am an idiot and had the under so it just ended up being a giant waste of time in the end anyway. Great throwback jersey matchup though:
The gruesome Jayden Daniels injury will be the one everyone talks about, but the Commies had a tough game all around Sunday. This is while Terry McLaurin is already out:
The Seahawks are a legitimate threat to the Eagles. That defense is awesome, I don’t think anyone thought Sam Darnold would pick right up from last year, and Jaxson Smith-Njigba has made a case all season that he’s a top-5 wide receiver. They’re also 4-0 on the road this season, but that’s against the Commies, Steelers, Cardinals, and Jaguars so take that as you will. If things stay the...
