Kansas City will play three NFC teams during 2025’s preseason.
We now have almost all the information about the Kansas City Chiefs' preseason schedule for 2025.
Since the AFC teams are playing nine home games and eight away games this season (the NFC will do the same thing in 2026), the Chiefs (and the rest of the AFC teams) will have just one exhibition game at home. For Kansas City, this matchup will be the final preseason game against the Chicago Bears on Friday, August 22. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:20 p.m. Arrowhead Time.
Kansas City will open the preseason against the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The precise date and time for that game have not yet been announced.
But the preseason Week 2 game against the Seattle Seahawks — which will be played on Lumen Field in Seattle on Friday, August 15 — will kick off at 9 p.m. Arrowhead Time. This is the latest start for a Chiefs game in recent memory.
All three games will be carried on Kansas City’s KSHB/41 and the Chiefs Television Network.
We’ll update you when the full details for the preseason opener are available.
