CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco released his top 100 NFL players of 2026, and three Bears made that cut: Colston Loveland (No. 100), Caleb Williams (No. 70) and Joe Thuney (No. 55).

Here’s a fairly basic reality. If Arnold had been an All-Pro in 2024 and 2025, the Lions would have found a way to keep him around. But, as always, excuses get made for the stars — and examples are made of the scrubs. Not that Arnold is a scrub. But he hasn’t played well enough after arriving as a first-round pick in 2024 to justify a decision to circle the wagons and wait out the prosecution.
