The Baltimore Ravens play a football game today

A menial expelling of emotions and thoughts prior to the Ravens vs. Bills Divisional Round matchup.

No more punditry. No more media personalities glorifying the Ravens or Bills. No more of them equally dogging them, either. No more of the bewilderingly ridiculous chatter regarding the temperature the teams will play in – which for the life of me I cannot ascertain its genesis. The Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills play today.

The winner will head to Kansas City and face the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. The loser will receive a painstakingly exhaustive critique – be it Head Coach John Harbaugh, Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen or any other player who fails to deliver perfection. Baltimore Beatdown will be involved in the praise or critique as we dissect the result. We’ll read and see the chirping plastered across the world wide web and a referendum won’t return on the losing quarterback and coach for another 12 months.

But that’s skipping ahead.

For now, we watch the clock tick down until kickoff – 6:30 p.m. ET. And it sure will be beautiful to watch two of the NFL’s best stars, teams and coaches go toe-to-toe in a win-or-go-home heavyweight title fight.
