Our 10 Most Important Chicago Bears list started on July 1, and we’ll gather all the articles here in this storystream over the next week. This is the 18th consecutive year we’ve run this series, and it’s proven to be a good conversation starter in a quiet part of the offseason.
Something to keep in mind is that “importance” is subjective, so your list may look different from ours, and that’s fine because there’s no right or wrong in this type of list. There are a lot of factors, both tangible and intangible, that go into the ours, but how do you rank the Bears? Does veteran leadership push a player higher? How about position depth? Can a coach make your list? Is a player’s overall talent the deciding factor for importance?
The franchise is in a good spot coming off an NFC North title and a WildCard win, and with the head coach and quarterback finally figured out, we’re quite possibly entering a golden age of Bears’ football.
