Zach Tom may have just missed out on being named All-Pro for the 2024 season, but the Green Bay Packers right tackle is still getting his well-deserved flowers. Most recently receiving a shoutout from young star defensive end, Will Anderson, Jr.

The Houston Texans DE made his rounds on Radio Row during Super Bowl week, including chatting with Kevin Clark of Omaha Productions/ESPN. The 2023 Defensive Rookie of the Year told Clark that Zach Tom is the best offensive lineman he’s faced in the NFL and added a heap of praise for the RT.

He’s legit. He’s a quick setter. He punches really quick. And he has a really good step off the ball. A good kick off the ball. He’s good, he’s more on the leaner side. Quick feet. Explosive hands. Can get back really well. I would say he’s up there.

Anderson added, “Besides LT”, referring to his teammate and five-time Pro-Bowler, Laremy Tunsil.

Anderson played against Zach Tom in Week 7 for the “Winter Warning” game at Lambeau Field where the Packers beat the Texans 24-22. Anderson had 3 total pressures and his only sack came against Rasheed Walker. Tom gave up a total of 2 pressures and zero sacks in that game.

Zach Tom, who was drafted in the 4th round in 2022, is officially eligible for an extension and is likely a priority for the Packers to lock down this offseason. He finished 3rd out of all right tackles in All-Pro voting for the 2024 season behind Detroit’s Penei Sewell and Philadelphia’s Lane Johnson.
