Houston Texans superstar wide receiver Nico Collins had to be carted off after suffering a head injury in Monday’s playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

During Monday’s physical defensive slugfest, CJ Stroud just missed Nico Collins on a pass over the middle. Collins’ head slammed into the turf in a scary scene, and he had to be carted off.

Collins’ reaction as he was being taken away was heartbreaking to watch, too.

If the Texans hold on to win, they will visit the Houston Texans in the Wild Card Round. However, there’s a good possibility that Nico Collins will miss that game. We will have to wait for an update.

Per ESPN, Collins finished the regular season with 71 receptions for 1,117 yards and six touchdowns. It marked Collins’ third straight 1,000-yard season, and he could have set career highs if he hadn’t missed two games to injury.

The banged-up Texans haven’t had veteran star safety Jimmie Ward (don’t tell that to ESPN’S graphics team) or running back Joe Mixon all year. Now, we’ll soon find out if they’ll have to survive without Collins.
