Terry Bradshaw has never been one to sit still. The Hall of Fame quarterback, four-time Super Bowl champion, and longtime NFL analyst just added a surprising new title to his resume-cookbook author.
Yes, the same Bradshaw who once lit up the gridiron with the Pittsburgh Steelers is now trading touchdowns for tomahawk steaks. He’s teamed up with his wife Tammy, daughters Rachel and Lacey, and son-in-law Noah Hester to release The Bradshaw Family Cookbook, set to hit shelves this September. And this isn’t just a celebrity name slapped on a book. The Bradshaws have packed it with real family recipes, stories, and a whole lot of personality.
The cookbook isn’t just a collection of recipes. It’s a reflection of the Bradshaw family’s roots, lifestyle, and love for food. “Food and family go hand in hand for us Bradshaws,” Terry said in a press release. “We’re loud, we joke around a lot, and we sure know how to eat.”
Terry’s spicy pork canoes with cilantro sour cream, spicy Italian sausage, and hearty soups show that he’s not afraid to get creative in the kitchen. Tammy draws on her Missouri roots with fried green tomatoes and a buttermilk pecan pie that pays tribute to the Show-Me State. Rachel, now a mom living in Dallas, contributes comfort classics like apple monkey bread and ham and Swiss sliders.

The real culinary muscle, though, comes from Noah Hester. Named 2024 Chef of the Year by CultureMap Dallas, brings over 20 years of culinary experience. He blends bold Southern and Pacific Rim flavors, inspired by his time in Hawaii. Alongside his partner Lacey, he co-owns Hamm’s Meat + Market in McKinney, Texas. They serve standout dishes like tomahawk steaks topped with chimichurri. Some of these flavorful creations now appear in their new cookbook.
The book also honors the Bradshaw family matriarch, Terry’s grandmother, “Hoodie Baby,” whose old-school cooking inspired many of the included recipes. Award-winning author James O. Fraioli, a James Beard Award recipient, co-authored the project, bringing a polished culinary lens to the family affair.
Pre-orders for The Bradshaw Family Cookbook are now open, and the book officially lands on shelves in mid-September. Whether you’re a fan of football or just hungry for something new, Bradshaw’s latest play might just surprise you.
