Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback and Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw is not only fed up with the never-ending Aaron Rodgers saga. But he’s also upset with how the Steelers handled the Kenny Pickett situation.

Quite simply, he believes the Steelers failed Pickett.

“I liked Kenny Pickett,” Bradshaw said during his interview on 103.7 The Buzz’s Morning Mayhem Show. “I liked him at Pitt. I know him, I know what he’s like. When they got him to Pittsburgh, they didn’t protect him, they didn’t get him an offensive line. They wanted to run the football, but they didn’t have an offensive line that could protect and they didn’t have weapons. He had no wide receivers to speak of. Then they throw a kid in there for two years and you’ve got an offense that doesn’t fit and doesn’t work, and they can’t run because their offensive line’s not even good enough for a run blocking team. Now, they’re saying Kenny Pickett is a failure. He wasn’t a failure, the Steelers were a failure.”

Pickett was once a fan favorite in the Steel City, but things have changed since his abrupt exit from the Steelers in March when he requested a trade following the signing of Russell Wilson. The Steelers obliged and sent the 2022 first-round pick cross-state to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Pickett’s reputation in Pittsburgh took a big hit, as many in the fanbase thought he showcased diva-like characteristics for not wanting to compete with Wilson for the starting quarterback spot. On the flip side, while not the majority, there’s a portion of the fanbase and media that think the Steelers mistreated Pickett.

Bradshaw was one of them. He’s always been a staunch supporter of Pickett.

“They should have never gotten rid of [Kenny] Pickett,” Bradshaw said during the FOX pregame show in December of 2024. Bradshaw added that he had the same opinion prior to the Steelers’ three-game losing streak.

The Steelers held their first OTAs practice on Tuesday, and of course, Rodgers was nowhere in sight.

“That’s a joke,” Bradshaw said on 103.7 The Buzz’s Morning Mayhem Show when asked about Rodgers not giving the Steelers an answer yet. “That is to me just a joke. What are you going to do? Bring him in for one year? Are you kidding me?”

Bradshaw continued to rip Rodgers, even with some personal shots.

“That guy needs to stay in California. Go somewhere and chew on bark. Whisper to the gods out there,” Bradshaw said.

Bradshaw just doesn’t want Rodgers in Pittsburgh. He doesn’t think it’s worth it.

“I heard the same thing,” Bradshaw said in regard to all signs pointing to Rodgers signing with the Steelers. ‘i just don’t want it.”
