The Tennessee Titans are getting slammed on social media following their deletion of a post many appear to believe was disrespectful to fathers and men in general.

This Sunday marks Father’s Day for around half of the world, including the United States, so most sports franchises have given all the dads out there their flowers. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case for the Titans, who still found a way to give a shout-out to women instead.

“Happy Father’s Day to all the Titans moms and fatherly figures,” they wrote in a tweet.

They’ve since deleted it due to either backlash or the realization that it may have been ill-advised, but not before it got immortalized by a revolutionary method known as the screenshot.

Fans Did Not Appreciate The Father’s Day Message From The Tennessee Titans

The Titans weren’t getting any love after their strange Father’s Day message.

“You can tell the franchise is ran by a woman,” a fan wrote.

“Men get disrespected always smh,” another chimed in.

“Oh yes. Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing mothers out there ✅🤡,” someone else wrote.

“How embarrassing,” a user wrote.

“We get one damn day and it still goes to women😂,” said a fifth.

“Why’s it always the losing franchises that post this crap,” a fan asked.

Well, at least they deleted it…
