Tennessee Titans wide receiver has been hit with another unlucky break ahead of the 2025 season.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Treylon Burks suffered a fractured collarbone during practice and will be sidelined indefinitely. Rapoport added that Burks is likely to miss the start of the regular season.
Injuries, unfortunately, have defined Burks’ NFL career up to this point. The Titans selected him 18th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft after dealing superstar wideout AJ Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Burks missed all but five games in 2024, and a combined 10 games over his rookie and sophomore seasons. Having suffered another serious injury, it’s hard not to feel for Burks ahead of a make-or-break season.
#Titans WR Treylon Burks suffered a fractured collarbone here at their stadium practice, per me and @TomPelissero.
Burks will undergo further tests, but he’s expected to miss the start of the season at least. A frustrating outcome for the young pass catcher. pic.twitter.com/Mr2lF9Dcb6

The Titans used the No. 1 pick of this year’s draft on Miami quarterback Cam Ward, bringing new levels of optimism to the offense. He may miss some time, but Treylon Burks still has time to develop chemistry with Ward and erase the “bust” label.
In 27 career games, Burks has caught 53 passes for 699 yards and one touchdown. He had his best statistical season in 2022, catching 33 passes for 444 yards and a touchdown.
With Burks sidelined, the Titans could look at adding another wideout via trade or free agency. Amari Cooper, Keenan Allen and Gabe Davis are among the top remaining WRs still looking for a new team.
Calvin Ridley and free agent signing Tyler Lockett headline Tennessee’s WR room, but they could definitely use another body with Burks expected to miss time.
