Taylor Swift openly gushed over her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as she made her podcasting debut on New Heights alongside his older brother, Jason Kelce.
Her appearance continues to break records, and it came out of nowhere just the day before, as she teased her new album.
During Wednesday’s episode, featuring the Grammy winner announcing her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, the pair discussed their relationship and how it first started in 2023.
It all began when the Kansas City Chiefs tight end admitted on New Heights that he tried and failed to slide his number to Swift after attending one of her Eras Tour concerts. That was in July 2023. He was left “disappointed” when things didn’t go according to plan.
Despite his initial failed attempt, the two later got together, where Taylor Swift talked about their first date.
“On our first date, I legitimately asked what it was like when the Chiefs played the Eagles in the Super Bowl, and he looked across the field and saw his brother standing five feet ahead of him on the field. I now know what an insane question that was,” Swift said, via On3.
“He was like, ‘Actually, I’m on the offense and my brother’s on the offense. I’m only on the field at the same time as the defense.’ I thought everyone was on the field at the same time. I thought that the quarterbacks, like Jared Goff was here and Josh Allen was here. And they’re gonna be like, you blow a whistle and then go at each other, and they’re like ahh! Like who’s gonna win.”
Later in the show, Swift referred to Kelce as a “human exclamation point.”
“I knew he wasn’t crazy the first couple of times we talked… He’s like a human exclamation point,” Swift said.

“I use so many more exclamation points now. And you aren’t judgmental that I knew nothing about the world you’re in.
Taylor Swift’s 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, is officially coming this fall.
The pop star said her latest album will be released on Oct. 3 and feature 12 new songs. She also gave insight into it by adding that the album is about what was going on during her life while she was on the Eras Tour.
On the podcast, Swift revealed that she started working on The Life of a Showgirl while she was on the Eras tour in Europe.
