Taylor Swift received some disappointing news this week, though it shouldn’t throw her off that much, given that she’s gotten to enjoy herself since completing her Eras tour at the end of 2024.
Swift doesn’t have appearance or performance obligations to fulfill at the moment and can spend most of her time doing whatever she wants, including hanging out with boyfriend Travis Kelce.
The NFL tight end has also enjoyed some downtime during the NFL season. While he has been busy with the ‘New Heights’ podcast he hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce, he’s also getting to spend plenty of time with his other half.
Taylor, though, got some unfortunate news on Monday night.
The pop sensation, who was nominated for six awards at the American Music Awards, won none of them.

Swift was nominated for Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Pop Artist, Favorite Touring Artist, Album of the Year, Favorite Pop Album, and Collaboration of the Year for “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone, but didn’t top any of the categories.
Fortunately, she didn’t attend the ceremony, which would have probably made it worse. In any case, she has won plenty of awards over the course of what has been a long and satisfying career.
Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar was nominated for 10 awards, winning just one, while Post Malone had eight nominations and won two.
Billie Eilish, however, made a clean sweep, winning all seven categories she was nominated for, including Artist of the Year. She wasn’t at the ceremony either, as she’s currently on a world tour.
While Taylor Swift didn’t win any awards this week, she has received the most awards in AMA history, with 40.
