Dawgs By Nature
The Cleveland Browns will be in New Jersey on Sunday to take on the New York Jets.
In what will be a battle between two teams that, while not tanking, are perhaps also not all that upset if they lose, given that both will be vying for a prime opportunity to select a quarterback in the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Jets, at 1-7, are currently slotted to select at No. 3 overall next spring, while the Browns are at No. 6. New York made some bold moves at the trade deadline by trading cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys. After the moves, the Jets hold five first-round picks between the next two drafts, so they are in position to be players.
The Browns were mostly at the trade deadline, unless sending little-used defensive end Joe Tryon-Shoyinka to the Chicago Bears gets your motor running. Cleveland also has a little bit of an easier schedule than the Jets for the remainder of the season.
On Thursday, we joined Paul “Boy Green” Esden Jr. (@BoyGreen25) and James Wudi (@thejameswudi) to talk about the upcoming game between the Browns and the Jets, the similarities between the teams and their ongoing quests to find a quarterback, and a whole lot more!
