Stats experts Opta have already challenged their supercomputer to predict the outcome of the new season, and no one could’ve thought things would turn out this way.
The supercomputer believes a new champion will be in February and boldly predicts that the Buffalo Bills will finally get it done.
A year ago, the Bills were eliminated from the playoffs in the Conference Championship round after finishing 13-4. They averaged 30.9 points per game (second in the league), while their defense allowed 21.6 (11th).
With NFL MVP Josh Allen behind center, the Bills boast the highest Super Bowl-winning odds at 13.4 percent.
The Buffalo Bills were also given a 23.4% chance of reaching the Super Bowl and are predicted to pick up approximately 11 wins and 6 losses in the season.
The Buffalo Bills have been given the best odds of winning the Lombardi trophy next year.
Behind them are the Chiefs, who have been given a 9.6% chance.
Saquon Barkley and the Eagles are third with an 8.7% chance of going back-to-back.
The Jaguars and Packers round out the top-5.
