Sunday nights are always a little more calm and cozy after a Detroit Lions’ win. For the time being, after a Vikings loss to the Steelers and Detroit’s win over the Cleveland Browns, the Lions sit alone atop the NFC North.
However, that could change after Sunday night. The Green Bay Packers are in action on primetime on the road. They’re in Arlington to face off against a Dallas Cowboys teams that looks… well, kind of pathetic. Last week, they were absolutely worked by the Chicago Bears, and currently sit at just 1-2 on the year. They have all the makings of a good offense, but with CeeDee Lamb on out Sunday night, they’re going to need someone else to step up. Their defense, however, does not look particularly good. It’s almost like they got rid of a generational player and they’re feeling the effects of that.
Speaking of, it’s Micah Parson’s return to Jerryworld. The Packers defensive end has already accumulated 1.5 sacks through three games and has impacted plenty more plays in his young Green Bay career. It feels pretty likely he’ll be motivated to prove his worth against the team that refused to sign him to an extension this offseason.
Either way, let’s hope for an exciting game that end in a humiliating Packers loss. Scroll down to the comment section to chat during the game with our Pride of Detroit community.
