Considering the play they’re getting out of their offensive line, it’s something of a minor sports miracle that the Los Angeles Chargers currently sit at 7-3 as the 2025 NFL season enters mid-November, with their latest winning coming over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football.

While the Chargers having poor offensive play is a generally known fact among football fans, Sunday Night Football truly put it into brutal context during their SNF matchup against Aaron Rodgers as the Pittsburgh Steelers with their use of ProFootballFocus (PFF) grades when introducing the starting line-ups.

Sunday Night Football humiliated the Los Angeles Chargers offensive line by showing their bottom-barrel PFF grades

Center Bradley Bozeman was ranked dead last in his position, 36th out of 36. Left tackle Austin Deculus, too, was dead last at 38 out of 38.

Right tackle Trey Pipkins III was similarly bottom barrel, as he was ranked 35th out of 36. It was the same story with right guard Mekhi Becton, who ranked 36th out of the leagues 37 graded right guards.

With the Chargers’ offensive largely middle-of-the-road this season in terms of yards and points, Jim Harbaugh’s team is getting things down with their defense, as they’re allowing the fourth-fewest yards-per-game (280.2) and the seventh-fewest points per game (20.3).

Despite their 7-3 record and being ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs — who have won the AFC West every season since 2016 — in the standings, the Chargers are not in first place in the AFC West as they trail the 8-2 Denver Broncos by a game.

The Chargers will take their 7-3 record into Jacksonville for a Week 11 matchup with the Jaguars.
