The NFL’s Sunday slate of games kicks off with an early international game from Dublin, Ireland. The 2-1 Pittsburgh Steelers will serve as the hosting team for this game. Pittsburgh narrowly escaped week one with a win over the New York Jets 34-32. Week two was worse for the Steelers, as they dropped their game to the Seattle Seahawks, 31-17. Pittsburgh again returned to the win column last week with its 21-14 victory over the New England Patriots.
The Minnesota Vikings enter this game also with a 2-1 record. Week one saw the Vikings defeat their divisional rival, the Chicago Bears, 27-24. Also, as with the Steelers, the Vikings lost their Week Two game. The Vikings dropped that game to the Atlanta Falcons 22-6. Again, like Pittsburgh, the Vikings walked away with their second victory in week three, defeating the Cincinnati Bengals in blowout fashion, 48-10.
