It has now been over 10,000 days since the Dallas Cowboys last won the Super Bowl.
The Cowboys have enjoyed success that few teams in the NFL can relate to.
The Cowboys joined the NFL in 1960, becoming the most southern team in the league.
The Cowboys made the playoffs every year from 1966 to 1973 and won their first Super Bowl in 1971. Under head coaches Jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer, the Cowboys were crowned Super Bowl champions three times in four years in the early 1990s.
Only two teams have lifted the Super Bowl on more occasions than the Cowboys, but it has been a long time since Dallas fans have enjoyed watching their team compete for it all.
The Dallas Cowboys have appeared in the Super Bowl eight times, the last time being January 28, 1996.
The odds are not in their favor heading into the 2025 season.
In fact, Stephen A. Smith has a better chance of being the President of the United States than the Cowboys have of winning it all anytime soon.

The Dallas Cowboys have won the Super Bowl five times, the same number as the San Francisco 49ers, just one less than the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers, who hold the record of six.
The Cowboys last won the Super Bowl in 1996.

Working against them is the Eagles being the defending Super Bowl champs and playing in the same division. Not to mention, the Washington Commanders just went to the NFC Championship game for the first time since the 90s as well.
It is going to be an uphill battle for the Cowboys.
